C7 Starter Conversion Kit

This kit is everything you need to swap a C7 Starter into your 05-13 C6 Corvette.

New OE starter, adapter harness, heat shield and hardware.

• C7 starter: Better Heat Management: The C7 starter comes with an integrated factory heat shield. This shield deflects radiant energy away from the starter motor, preventing the internal resistance buildup that causes C6 starters to fail when hot.      
  
• C7 starter: Smaller Footprint & Header Clearance: The C7 starter is significantly more compact, measuring roughly 1 inch shorter in length and height, and 1/2 inch narrower than the stock C6 unit. It also saves about 1.25 pounds. This extra space provides much-needed clearance for C6 owners running aftermarket long-tube headers, which sit dangerously close to the starter.                                               
• Higher Cranking Torque: Even though it is physically smaller, the C7 motor is stronger and spins significantly faster than the older factory C6 design. It provides rapid, crisp engine starts every time.
